*Essential element of the state:- There are four essential elements of the state. Such as Population, Territory ,Government, Sovereignty.
01.Population: Population refers to the total number of individuals living in a specific geographic area or region. Population is a essential element of a state. Without a population, there is no Community and without a community, there is no state.
There are states with very small populations, such as Monaco and Canada and states with very large populations, Such as China, India.
02.Territory: Territory is an area of land or sometimes sea that is considered as belonging to or connected with a particular country or person.
Territory in the second essential element of the state. State is a territorial unit. A state territory provides the physical space for its population, government and institutions to exist and function. In modern time, the citizens are bound together by residence on a common territory.
03.Government: Government in the organization or machinery of the state. It provides a framework for the functioning of a society, ensuring public order, security and the administration of Justice. Government is the third essential element of the state. The state exercise its sovereign power through the government.
04. Sovereignty: Sovereignty is a political concept that refers to dominate power on supreme authority. It is the basis on which the state regulates all aspects of the life of the people living in its territory. It is the most exclusive element of the state. State alone possess sovereignty. Without sovereignty no state can exist.
